Construal, the first Portuguese company to build bridge-type cutting machines, was founded in 1956 in Pêro Pinheiro, Sintra, one of largest decorative stone processing centres in Europe.
The 4 founding partners – all with extensive experience in the stone industry – ensured that the company would thrive from the outset, by building continuous adaptation to new market technologies and needs into our business model. This vision, which has been at the core of our operations throughout the last six decades, is one of the main reasons our customers place so much trust in us.
